We know that a trip to the theater requires a little extra for some. The theater is for everyone, which is why we have an increased focus on disability facilities. Read about them here, and if you have any further questions, please contact post@bettynansen.dk.

For people with a disability

On our main stage at Betty Nansen Teatret

At Betty Nansen Teatret’s main stage on Frederiksberg Allé there are two staircases, but there is a wheelchair elevator at the door to the foyer on the far right of the facade.

There is one wheelchair space at the theatre. The seat is in category A and can only be purchased by contacting Betty Nansen Teatret directly at billet@bettynansen.dk. The ticket must be purchased no later than seven days before the performance.

Betty Nansen Teatret has a disabled toilet to the right of the bar.

Please note that there is a disabled parking space on the corner of Frydendalsvej and Frederiksberg Allé, approximately 25 meters from the main entrance of the theater. The parking space cannot be reserved as it belongs to Frederiksberg Municipality.

God Adgang has prepared a detailed presentation of our access conditions at Betty Nansen Teatret, which makes it easier for our audience to plan a trip to the theater according to their own conditions.

On our side stage Edison

At our annex stage Edison, we have an elevator. At your arrival our bar staff will direct you to the elevator.

For people with hearing impairments

If you have a hearing impairment and need additional equipment to enhance your listening experience in the theater, you can reserve a wireless FM system with headphones at no cost for all performances and events at Betty Nansen Theatre.

We have eight sets of FM systems available, which wirelessly transmit sound from our existing speaker system to individual receivers, ensuring that patrons with hearing impairments enjoy the same theatrical experience as other guests. The individual receivers connect to a set of headphones that we provide, or you may bring your own headphones for potentially better sound quality. Please note that your personal headphones must have a mini-jack plug.

The FM system replaces the previous hearing loop system.

How to Reserve: The loan of the FM equipment, including headphones, is free of charge but must be reserved in advance. To do so, please contact us at billet@bettynansen.dk or by phone at +45 3321 0755.

The FM equipment can be collected at the box office of the theater and should be returned to the staff at the bar after the performance.
